After that Mr. Hafiz tell us to watch a video called Duet by Glen Keane. Glean Keane is famously known as American animator and Illustrator. He's also a writer. This is other reference that i found on Youtube to further my understanding to the 12 basic principle of 2D animation.
Instructions
For our 1st exercise, we were task to create a simple flip book animation using 3 idea which is breaking, rotate and bounce by using a small notebook of a sheet of paper.
Work Processes
I decide to used sneakers footwear as my main animated object. The sneakers that i used is Yeezy by Adidas.
This footwear is famously for being overprice footwear and it's a hot trending fashion wear for the youngster. This footwear famous due to the collaboration with famous rapper Kanye West.
For my animated flip book idea is simply by the shoes bouncing from space to ground back to air, rotated and breaks into liquid. After turn into liquid the liquid bounce back to form a face which is turn out to be a face of the created of the Yeezy Boost, Kanye West.
Feedback
Mr. Hafiz commented on the buffering between frames. It's important to have buffering so that the animated looks smooth not choppy. Second comment is focusing on my space. I tend to used the space heavy on left side. He told me to play with the space more and balance out the main object and space. Overall Mr. Hafiz is happy with idea that i'm using from an object turn out to be a face.
Reflections
It was a good exercise for a simple task. Give a overall idea how to plan and executed the idea for doing an traditional 2D animation.
